Sitting outside of a coffee shop, sipping on some Costa Rican, oil black as the Gulf and shimmering, steam wafting skyward, reading the Times or some such, I dream of doing the same in Paris at some sidewalk cafe. Cups and saucers and cobblestone streets. Maybe the same one Hemingway frequented. A thousand words before lunch and then it's off to the Basque country for a weekend of fishing in a cold stream. What Jackson coffee shop offers such inspiration? Just Cups, just Cups. So I guess I'll continue to follow the smell of roasted coffee beans from day to day just as long as they'll let me.
